Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “ufak tefek sindirilebilirler”) tanılamamlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine rabıtlanmasıyla oluşan kısaltarak polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino hamız kalıntısı ile başkası arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” yahut peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (yahut çok skorda polipeptit madun birimi barındırır). Temel üstelik peptitlerin kısaltarak, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi esnasında her amino hamız, öteki amino asite ötümlü, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle rabıtlanır. Polipeptid konstrüksiyonsına hoşgörüsüzlan amino asitlerin her biri konstrüksiyonya peptid rabıtlarıyla rabıtlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu esnasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir deniz çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Averaj bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Bilindik en uzun polipeptit, kestirmece 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda kâin “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine hoşgörüsüzlan amino asitlere kalıntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki kalıntı, bağ yapmamış, hür amino grubu barındırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin öteki ucundaki hür α-karboksil grubu olan kalıntıya C ucu adı verilir.
